Here are some pictures of our classroom and our learning this week. We are reading Kensuke's Kingdom and describing Michael's experience of being lost at sea.
We listened to music, closed our eyes and imagined what it must be like to be there. We shared our ideas together and combined our ideas as a class. Here is our finished result:
I was drifting away into the vast ocean, panicking frantically. My thoughts were whirling around like a carousel as the menacing waves rushed into view. I've never felt so homesick.
Although it was pitch black underneath the water, I could sense fierce sharks rising from the depths of the ocean. My cries of help could not be heard. Gulping salty waves down my throat, the ice-cold, deep, dark water robbed me of oxygen. The eerie silence meant the coming of my death...
